- Defining the notion of sociability in relation to the instrumental music of the later eighteenth century
- The tempo di menuetto finale in later eighteenth-century music, with particular reference to Haydn
- The slow movement of the late eighteenth-century keyboard sonata, with particular reference to Clementi
- Editing string quartets of the later eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, with current reference to Gyrowetz and Romberg
- Iberian keyboard music of the earlier eighteenth century, with particular reference to Seixas, Scarlatti and Albero
- The string chamber music of Boccherini
Current research
This includes an edited collection of essays on Domenico Scarlatti for Ut Orpheus Edizioni, Bologna, a chapter on Luigi Boccherini's Op. 32 string quartets and an edition of Gyrowetz's Op. 42 string quartets.
